What is Stewardship?

“In general stewardship is responsibility for taking good care of resources
entrusted to one.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stewardship) 

“The conducting, supervising, or managing of something; especially: the careful
and responsible management of something entrusted to one's care.” 

Stewardship

A steward is one entrusted with managing the property of another. Jesus outlined some of the responsibilities of a steward in the parable of the talents. A steward must maintain and protect, nurture and develop the 'talents' or property of his Master.
